Basic Education Certificate Examination
To transit from the ninth year of the basic education class (JSS3) to the senior secondary, the BECE is conducted for candidates in their third year of the Junior Secondary School. The BECE is written by the students in all the registered secondary schools in the state.
State Common Mock Examination (SCME)
The State Common Mock Examination (SCME) is conducted by the Education Resource Center (ERC) to assess the level of preparedness of students in SS2, as well as a promotional examination into SS3. SCME is compulsory to all the SS2 students in all the secondary schools in the state (public and private)
Secondary School Placement
The ERC coordinates the placement of students from the upper basic levels to secondary schools in the state. to view the placement list of 2012/2012 session.
